Volunteers

We have some incredible visual and performing arts planned for the opening of the new space and, coincidentally, we also have an incredible amount of work to do to prepare and run these events and exhibitions.

Volunteers will work alongside staff members and fill crucial roles by staffing events, assisting with space preparations and helping artists install their work. Volunteers can earn tickets to events in exchange for their work.

Internships

Disjecta interns work within specific organizational departments to plan and implement programming, outreach, operations and other aspects of non-profit management. We expect each intern to identify and carry out an independent project, in addition to assisting staff with general duties.

In order to provide meaningful projects and experiences, we ask for a minimum time commitment of 20 hours per week for 8 - 12 weeks. Disjecta does not provide housing, travel, or monetary compensation for interns.

To apply for an internship, please send your resume with a cover letter stating the dates and times you would be available, and in which area you would be most interested working. We will match your schedule and interests to a Disjecta staff member and arrange for an interview.
