2014 Biennial Artists

Kelly Rauer

Kelly Rauer is an artist living and working in Portland. Rauer simultaneously maintains practices in video, photography and movement in order to form large-scale, multi-channel video installations where the body serves as the main subject, object and device. She has received a Regional Arts & Culture Council Project Grant as well as an Oregon Arts Commission Opportunity Grant. Her work has been show in screening and festivals throughout the US and will participate in the XXXFuori Festival in Pesaro, Italy this year as well as the Video Guerriha festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She received her BA in Fine Art and Photography in 2004 from The Evergreen State College, Olympia, Washington.
