Drawing on an accomplished board and staff as well as the rich experience of our advisory board, Disjecta will exhibit the work of regional, national and international artists. Disjecta's studio and residency program will enable the creation of new work, encouraging growth in the local arts by providing professional development opportunities to artists.

Disjecta fills an important void between Portland's larger arts institutions and the smaller grass-roots organizations and its staff has spent years working in, listening to and observing the community directly.
